Integrative Health: A Look at the Whole Person

Integrative health is the pillar of Ashlee's work as a woman living with disability. Her session is a reminder that people living with complex health conditions are persons first, and that their lives and their conditions are shaped by far more than a primary diagnosis.

Ashlee believes that supporting someone, medically and otherwise, begins with seeing them as a person and everything their life entails. People do not live in bubbles, and caring for them means looking at their life as a whole, not as an isolated diagnosis.
