Anshar brings a rare perspective to the summit: a journey from being 75% nonverbal at age 11 to teaching communication, behavioral psychology, and cognitive neuroscience to C-suites, organizations, and entrepreneurs.
Anshar Seraphim is an independent researcher, writer, and consultant specializing in neurocognitive mapping, behavioral science, and interdisciplinary protocol design. This work spans neuroscience, artificial intelligence, behavioral psychology, and accessibility advocacy, with a strong emphasis on transparency, inclusion, and open science.
Anshar's story begins in the 1980s and early 1990s, when autism diagnosis and support were almost nonexistent. At age 11, Anshar was 75% nonverbal, and a formal autism diagnosis did not come until joining the U.S. Navy at 19.
Living with total aphantasia, ticker-tape synesthesia (seeing text in real time while thinking and talking), auditory-tactile synesthesia, and grapheme-color synesthesia, Anshar developed a unique annotation system to learn gesture, facial expression, and speech. After years of paralyzing transportation challenges, Anshar earned a driver's license at 37.
Once unable to speak, even when accidentally stepped on by a stranger, Anshar now teaches communication to leaders and organizations, and serves as Vice President of Critical Thinking and primary copywriter for The Octopus Movement, a global think tank spanning more than 60 countries that Forbes has recognized for championing nonlinear and multipotential thinking.
